A division of MEI LLC, we’ve been in business since 1990 serving satisfied customers around the world.   MEI Rigging & Crating has locations in Texas, Oregon and Utah. Our experienced and well trained teams have a full inventory of specialized equipment for crating, moving or rigging your machine tools, production lines or equipment. We move whole factories or single pieces of equipment across a wide range of industries. We have experience in a broad range of environments, from production floors to cleanrooms; from medical buildings to industrial work sites. We work locally, nationally and internationally.

Plant & Factory Relocations

MEI provides complete project management for factory moves. We partner with our clients to manage schedule, scope and logistics, and have successfully executed complete facility relocations and shutdowns. Great care and attention to detail are given to all of our project management assignments in order to best serve and meet the needs of our customers  Recent projects have included the closing and relocation of a one million square foot semiconductor plant with more than 470 tools over a period of six months, and a move-in and installation of a 300 millimeter semiconductor plant with more than 700 tools over 14 months.
