Powder Coating
MEI’s powder coating facility includes full electrostatic powder coating
capabilities. We begin by power washing or sand blasting according to surface
condition needs. Then, using a variety of coatings (epoxy, polyester, urethane,
etc.) in a wide array of colors and finishes, MEI bakes a durable and attractive
finish onto each piece in an 8x8x20 foot curing oven that can be extended by an
additional 10 feet as dictated by some larger parts or structures.
Our powder coats are all corrosive resistant and can be applied in temperature,
chemical, UV light, or FDA resistant finishes as well. In addition, they are all
environmentally friendly, being very low in VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds)
released into the atmosphere.
