» Dan Cappello, CEO - MEI, LLC

Dan Cappello is President & Chief Executive Officer of MEI, LLC, a custom design, manufacturing and service company headquartered in Albany, Ore. He purchased a majority interest in the company (then Marler Enterprises Inc.) from founder Bruce Marler in 2004.

From 1994 through 2004, Cappello traded stocks as a member of New York Stock Exchange. Previously, he spent 10 years with The Paul Revere Life Insurance Company of Worcester, Mass., most recently as Regional General Manager of the Chicago group sales office. During his tenure, Cappello often toured the facilities of the insurance company’s manufacturing clients and developed an interest in the business that would later lead him to MEI.

Cappello earned a bachelor’s degree in math and economics from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, N.Y., and received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.

» Seth Christensen , Chief Financial Officer- MEI, LLC

Seth Christensen is the Chief Financial Officer of MEI, LLC. He joined the company in 2005 as Director of Finance and became CFO in 2006. His duties include overseeing all finance, administrative, and accounting functions.

From 2002 to 2005, Christensen worked at PALCO, a large redwood lumber manufacturer and timberland owner in northern California. Initially hired as a financial analyst, he was promoted to run the department of strategic planning and financial analysis in less than a year. Prior to arriving at PALCO, Christensen was the general manager of a small business in Eugene, Oregon.

Christensen earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and psychology from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon and then received his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Oregon.
