MEI Retrofits a Universal Systems Full Auto
Linear Wet Station
Retrofit provides performance enhancements
Albany, OR. May 2, 2007
– MEI LLC recently received an order to retrofit another
Universal Systems full auto linear wet station used for immersion batch
processing. This order comes on the heels of a similar successful retrofit at a
different location for this same semiconductor manufacturer. The system is being
retrofitted due to reliability issues and obsolete components which were
threatening uptime and production capacity.
Dan Cappello, CEO of MEI said “We are very pleased to receive
this repeat order as it demonstrates an expansion of trust in MEI across
additional sites within the organization. We have earned their trust through our
excellent execution of earlier retrofit projects at other sites and look forward
to furthering our business relationship throughout their many additional sites
worldwide. Our IDX automation software platform coupled with hardware
engineering solutions has had a tremendous positive impact on our customers’
production lines and we are very proud of the excellent execution our team has
provided”.
