Albany, OR. February 28, 2007 – MEI LLC has received a purchase order for three new wet process tools. The order required a mixture of the Advancer side mount automation configuration and a new Rotary design. The rotary design was needed in a very customized footprint and also included a built in chemical delivery system.

Dan Cappello, CEO of MEI said “The rotary design is not new to MEI. We have been producing and servicing rotary tools and components for many years. For instance, MEI builds its own rotary robot. However this particular design did not previously exist in our product platform and required many customized features.

In addition, the tool had to be delivered on a tight timeline. Were it not for our dedicated employees, such challenges could not have been met. We are very proud of our manufacturing and design teams for their talent and ability to execute.”
