Albany, OR. January 9, 2007 – MEI LLC recently retrofitted a BPS immersion wet station for a repeat customer on the West Coast. The system is used for cleaning applications on a critically important production line tool which was experiencing operational reliability issues. MEI has considerable success retrofitting older wet process tools to make them more reliable and extend the useable life of the tool.

Central to MEI’s ability to retrofit a wide variety of wet process tool makes and models is its IDX automation software platform. The IDX software is very adaptable to many different wet station configurations and is widely accepted in the industry. The software can be configured in a number of different ways and can communicate with many different PLC and motion control packages.
