MEI’s crating teams use heat-treated lumber to build custom
crates that protect industrial and commercial equipment for local moves,
cross-country transport or international shipment. Our built-to-spec crates meet or exceed ASTM and industry
standards and can be built to federal and military specifications. Inside the
crates, items are secured in accordance with your company’s requirements or
international protocols for blocking, banding or lagging.

than three billion dollars of sensitive equipment in more than 10,000 crates in
the past five years. Our vacuum packing is clean room compatible and can be
performed on-site for maximum efficiency and cost effectiveness. We have barrier

while maintaining appropriate humidity levels.
